National Night Out Against Crime

Like many towns in New Jersey and around the nation, Jefferson Township Police officers hosted National Night Out in the Water's Edge Development in the Milton section of Jefferson Twp. The Police Department provided hot dogs, soda and snacks for residents of the neighborhood, while the fire department and first aid squad provided giveaways, fire prevention and safety information and apparatus tours. 
Mayor Russell Felter, Police Chief Jack Palko and township council members also dropped by to enjoy the perfect summer evening.
Sparky and Patches the fire dogs also made very special appearances before the night was over.
JTFD#1 had approximately 20 members participating and brought Engines 722, 724, 727, Truck 728, and Rescue 725.
